The Dark Angel
The dark angel walks through the graveyard
She helps lost souls find peace
She helps those who have lost their way
She guides souls to the Kingdom of Heaven
She has met those who have self-harmed
Or considered suicide
She has reminded them of the beauties of the world
She provides comfort for the dispossessed
She helps them rejoin society
The dark angel walks the streets
She sees the homeless and abused
She provides them with love and support
If you are considering death
The dark angel will enter your dreams
And offer you comfort and support
Let the dark days pass
And enjoy life
One day you will meet the dark angel
She will greet you in the Kingdom of Heaven
She will shed a tear
She will remember you past setbacks
But now you will find eternal peace
The dark angel always looks out

I like this poem. I dont believe in heaven or hell, but i like the imagery. I think that death acts as that dark angel. Without death we would never be alive. Without the drive to breed on this planet we would not sustain, and with dark and light... they keep the planet creatures alive , all alike. And i think that death acts as a driving force, to appreciate our lives the more. I also have deep respect for things that are spiritual, and those i believe guide to wherever we go when we die. I like this one. dont know why nobody has commented . this poem is a good one. I think that people are often lost, because they cant look for a place within themselves to reside. So i hope that whatever darkness might fill your life, that you can keep love of yourself close, so you can better love others. Keep writing, you will get better and better.
