Well imho it's passé. I'm not so eager to comment about poetry in english 'cause I'm from Eastern Europe and I'm not sure how does the poetry of West look like, what u guys there expect from it. However in philosophical matter we have here such a conflict between optimistic life road and naturalistic commentary of reality (well it doesn't make anything clear but I don't know how to explain it). What I'm tryin' to say is that in my reality thing like "go ur own way" is so obvious that no-one except young teenagers cares about repeating it. Because it's easy to say "find your own way". There's harder matter - how? And for what? Isn't it easier to just keep with the rules? Why to break rules when mostly those are righteous? Which rules to break? Is it really so necessary to be emotional and full of passion about important stuff? ('Cause it makes people look funny in bad way). And more, and more.
So I stopped just to tell U that, imho, it's out-dated. And I do so 'cause I was alwyas thinkin' that ppl from GB, USA, Germany or France are like into future of thought. So I was lookin' for the Black Rose like in the late nineties but years ago I understood that it's just edgy to be rebellious, dark, arty and pretentious. It's rather about finding some consensus between rebel and society.
Yet I'd like to thank U 'cause ur poem made me stay here for a while. Plus I might learn sth
